Appointments:

Please call during office hours to set up appointments or to speak with our staff.

If you are later than 15 minutes for your appointment, we will try working you back into the schedule, or perhaps offer you an appointment with another provider. However, out of courtesy to other patients, we may be forced to reschedule your appointment. Insurance cards must be presented at every visit. Should you forget your card, email a picture (front & back) to [email protected]

Patient Portal: 

Pedi Med Center is excited to announce a new way to communicate with our Providers and Nurses. In using this feature, you're able to email pictures or videos directly to us which allows us to better help you. How to access this feature? Call to speak with our front desk staff and they will set up your account. In order to utilize this system, we will need your email address. 

Walk-in Sick Visits:

Walk-ins available for ACUTELY sick patient's between 7:30-9:30 AM on Monday through Friday.   

Walk-in for Shots: 

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:00 AM -- 11: 00 AM or 3: 00 PM -- 4:15 PM

Please note, if you are NOT current with well-checks, you may NOT walk-in for vaccines. Be sure to schedule yearly well-checks @ (432) 699-2636


Walk-in for Blood Work: 

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:00 AM -- 11:00 AM or 1:00 PM -- 2:00 PM 


Sick Visits:

Parents, if your child is sick and you would like to schedule an appointment outside of our walk-in times, call the office: (432) 699-2636. We make every effort to schedule appointments for ill children on the day you call. If you have a medical emergency during office hours, we will do our best to see your child immediately or refer you to appropriate facilities.

Well-Checks:

To keep your children healthy, it is important to schedule regular checkups. We recommend calling 2-3 month(s) in advance in order to choose the best date to fit for your scheduling needs. Below is our well-check guide along with when and what vaccines are given. Should you have questions, please call the office for further clarification.

After Hours Services: 

For concerns after hours, please call 68-NURSE (432-686-8773).  68-NURSE answers our after-hours calls. They are trained to give you appropriate advice for your child's issue. Leave a voice mail, including your name, your child's name, and the phone number you wish to be called back at. 

Emergencies:

If an emergency should arise, please call 911.

Emergencies are considered to be those conditions that are life-threatening: loss of consciousness, severe bleeding, seizure, etc. In the case of minor emergencies (lacerations, cuts, mild fractures, sprains), please call our office first for instructions.

Insurance and Billing:

Pedi Med Center accepts the following insurances:

BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, HealthSmart Preferred Care Accel, HealthSmart Preferred Care PPO, United Healthcare PPO, Capstar Health Network, ChoiceCare PPO, Galaxy Health Network, IMS PPO, OMNI PPO, USA MCP

At this time, we are NOT accepting New Medicaid patients.

For CURRENT patients with Medicaid, please note we are only in network with the following plans: Superior Medicaid, Amerigroup, Superior Health CHIP, Foster Care, STAR, STAR KIDS, STAR PLUS, Texas Medicaid

Parents of newborns, please be sure to add your child to your insurance policy within 30-days of birth by contacting your HR (Human Resources) Department. 

Payment Options:

We accept checks, cash or credit cards. We also offer a flexible payment plan. Please see our Financial Coordinator for details. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement as long as you are free to choose your own pediatrician.
